Ride through the white wilderness to enjoy ice fishing on a frozen lake

This tour heads North on a snowmobile trail that takes you through snowy forests, where you can admire the surrounding wilderness of Lapland. You will arrive to a small wilderness lake and the guide helps you to try the Ice-fishing. Ice fishing is also very popular among the locals.

Each snowmobile is shared by two guests taking turns in driving. The driver of the snowmobile has to be at least 18 years of age with a driver’s license valid in Finland.

At the destination, you can choose to fish outdoors under the open sky or inside a heated tent where warmth and comfort meet the peaceful sounds of nature. Beneath the ice, you may find burbot, pike, perch or trout, if fortune smiles and Ahti, the ancient Finnish god of water, grants his favour.

As you wait for a catch, enjoy the calm of the winter night, the flicker of a fire, and a warm drink in good company. With a bit of luck, the northern lights may also dance across the polar sky, adding a final touch of magic to this unforgettable Lapland experience.
