Entrance Tickets to the Wildlife Park
Purchasing an admission ticket to the wildlife park is primarily an act of supporting species conservation and biodiversity. Therefore, purchased tickets cannot be exchanged, modified, or canceled except in cases of force majeure.

Activities
Activity bookings (outside travel packages) are to be paid upon booking. Pre-booked activities can be cancelled free of charge 14 days before the start of the activity after which the booking has no modification or cancellation right. Bookings that are made on spot must be paid upon booking – no modification or cancellation right.
Accommodation Bookings
Accommodation bookings must always be paid in full (100%) at the time of booking. The terms for promotional bookings are specified separately in each offer.
The cancellation policies for holiday villas and igloos vary by season.

Restaurant Reservations
Advance reservations can be canceled free of charge up to 7 days before the reservation date. After this, reservations cannot be modified or canceled.
Reservations made on-site are binding and must be paid at the time of confirmation.
Travel Packages
Bookings that include accommodation and other travel service (for example ticket, transfer, guided activity or renting sport equipment) form a travel package.
We apply Finnish Consumer Ombudsman’s general terms and conditions for package travel. You will find a link to these terms and also to Ranua Resort’s terms and conditions at the bottom of this page.
Please, note that the terms are not applied to bookings that are made via third party and in those cases the terms should be always checked from the booking agent.
Booking terms and conditions for group bookings and tour operators
Entrance Tickets to the Wildlife Park
If the customer has made a group reservation for the tickets and some of the guests do not use their tickets, the unused tickets will not be automatically refunded, as buying a ticket is considered an act benefiting the protection of species and the biodiversity of nature.
Activities
Please note that you must confirm final pax amount for Ranua Resort 14 days before the reservation. After that all the changes and cancellation are non-refundable. If the pax number is higher than informed the group will be invoiced according the new pax number.

Starting October 1, 2020, we introduced a service fee at our web shop at ranuaresort.com/en/shop/ in the product categories listed below. The service fee is charged in full at the time of booking in the web shop. It will be determined according to the product category and is charged per reservation. We use the service fees collected from the web shop for the development of online sales in the future.The amount of the service fee is indicated after the category.
Service fees
Wildlife Park Entrance ticket reservation 1 € *
* pertains to all reservations made in advance
Example 1
If you book entrance tickets to the wildlife park for your party, two adults and one child, the service fee in full with a reservation is
1 €. The size of the party does not matter for determining the service fee.
Additional payments
From 1 October 2020, we will introduce an additional payment price list related to abuse and damage in our accommodations. Additional fees according to the additional payment price list will be charged to the customer when misuse has been established. The more extensive terms and practices of the price list are recorded in the reservation and cancellation conditions of Ranuan Seudun Matkailu Oy.
- Additional cleaning payment 200 €
- Non-declared pet in the accommodation 100 €
- Smoking inside the accommodation 400 €
- Opening the door of the customer’s apartment between 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. 60 €
Apartment repair costs will be charged according the true cost of the damage.
If, after the stay, it is clearly noticeable that number of people staying at the accommodation exceeds more than the number of people expected or beds have been used more than the stated number of people, Ranuan Seudun Matkailu Oy charges according to the exceeded number of people/used beds in the accommodation according to the price list.
Please note that this pricing is applied only in the accommodation units where the accommodation price depends on the number of guests staying at the accommodation.
Example 1
The customer has reserved the apartment for two (2) people and made the payment according to this number of people. After staying, it is noted that four (4) of the six beds in the apartment have been used. In this case, from the customer an additional fee will be charged, assuming that four (4) people have stayed in the apartment instead of two (2) people. The amount of the surcharge is always defined according to the valid price list. Cases are always processed on a case-by-case basis.
