What is Ranua Resort influencer collaboration?
Looking to create content from an authentic Arctic destination in Finnish Lapland? Ranua Resort collaborates with selected Finnish and international creators through hosted visits in exchange for agreed content on your channels.
Ranua Resort is a unique Arctic destination that combines accommodation, experiences and the Ranua Wildlife Park. We’re looking for creators of different ages and backgrounds who share their visit in an authentic, story-driven way – capturing the atmosphere of the North, nature and experiences responsibly.
Our goal is to inspire your audience to visit Ranua, and to help them understand what the Ranua Resort experience is like for different people in different seasons.
Ranua Resort’s influencer collaboration model in a nutshell
- Collaborations are based on hosted services – we do not pay monetary fees.
- We do not reimburse travel expenses.
- We select collaborations based on audience fit, content quality and capacity.
- All requests are handled via our application form.
Who is this for?
We select creators for commercial collaboration based on several criteria: the prerequisites for cooperation are at least one public social media channel with target groups suitable for Ranua Resort, sufficient followers and a committed audience, as well as content that is naturally linked to the resort’s operations and in line with our values.
In particular, we are looking for creators focusing on:
- travel (Finland / Lapland / Arctic)
- family travel
- nature, outdoor activities and experiences
- responsible travel
- travelling by land / road trips
- wildlife, nature photography
- high-quality photo/video storytelling
Possible collaboration channels could include: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, blog or smaller online publications, or other social media channels. The minimum number of followers per channel is 10.000 engaged followers. However, more important criteria than the number of followers are the quality, style and impact of the content on the target audience.

What we may offer – and what we expect in return
What we can offer (case by case)
- tickets to the Wildlife Park
- accommodation at Ranua Resort (depending on season and capacity – very limited during the winter season)
- selected services and experiences depending on the extent of collaboration (and within available capacity)
What we expect from creators:
- an agreed amount of content across agreed channels (e.g. Reels/Posts/Stories, video or an article)
- clear mention and attribution / tagging of Ranua Resort in publications
- transparent collaboration disclosure (e.g. “in collaboration with Ranua Resort”)
- links to published content (and basic metrics if available) after the visit, so that we can follow up on the cooperation
Important: we do not pay monetary fees and we do not cover travel expenses.
How the collaboration process works
- Fill in the application form carefully (at least the fields marked as mandatory).
- We will evaluate your application and reply to you by email within 30 days if we see potential for cooperation and if there are still influencer vacancies for the desired date. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to respond to unsuccessful applications in person.
- We will agree on the visit and deliverables (what’s included, timeline, details)
- Visit & publishing followed by links/recap and performance data when possible
FAQ – influencer collaboration
Do you pay travel costs or fees?
No. Collaborations are hosted visits in exchange for content and we do not reimburse travel expenses or pay any monetary compensation.
How long does it take to get a reply?
We process applications on a first-come, first-served basis and according to capacity. Within 30 days of receipt of the application, we will contact those applicants with whom we are progressing.
Can I come with my partner or family?
Our target groups are diverse, and we are happy to work with solo travellers, couples, families and small groups. For example, we can accommodate a family/group of up to 7 people in a holiday villa, so it’s possible to work with us even if your family is larger. Please let us know the size of your group and your wishes in your application – we will assess the whole proposal on a case-by-case basis.
When should I apply?
Apply well in advance, especially for the winter and summer seasons. The clearer the idea and timing of your proposal, the easier it will be to evaluate it. During peak seasons (December-January, July) we are usually unable to offer accommodation, so if you want to experience accommodation with us, it is advisable to time your proposal outside these periods.
What criteria does Ranua Resort use to select its influencer partners?
Our acceptance criteria for a creator partnership are at least one public and active social media channel with at least 10,000 engaged followers, as well as target audiences that are relevant for Ranua Resort and content topics that are naturally related to our operations. We also require transparent and responsible publishing and clear disclosure of commercial partnerships.
How will Ranua Resort use my materials?
In our standard model, we request the right to re-share content about Ranua Resort on our social media channels with attribution. Wider use (e.g. website/paid advertising) is always agreed separately in writing.
