Experience the magic of the Arctic night by riding through a snow-covered forest and on a frozen lake. With a little luck, there is  a bright sky, lit by the moon and the stars. Perhaps the Aurora Borealis – the Northern Lights – will appear to show you the way.

Enjoy hot beverages and traditional, Lappish flatbread by a campfire and learn more about the Northern Lights and the beauty of Lapland.

Each snowmobile is shared by two guests taking turns in driving. The driver of the snowmobile has to be at least 18 years of age with a driver’s license valid in Finland.

Late night search of Aurora Borealis (snowmobile sleigh ride)

Relax and enjoy the views in a sleigh!
During this exclusive late night Northern Lights trip we will go through the mystical forests of Lapland and look for the Auroras. The guide will drive the snowmobile and you have a chance to relax e.g. with your partner in a sleigh. During the trip we will also stop for some hot drinks.

What’s included?

Thermal outfit, guidance in English, place in a sleigh pulled by guide, hot beverages and small snack, information about Aurora Borealis.

Please note, that the Aurora Borealis or the Northern Lights, are natural phenomena caused by solar wind and even though it is possible to predict the appearance, it cannot be guaranteed. Also, the weather conditions have great impact on the visibility – if there are clouds or it is snowing, it is not possible to see the Northern lights.

Northern lights skating offers an unforgettable experience that brings back warm memories afterwards. This trip is perfect for couples, families and groups of friends.

Our skating rink offers a view of the northern sky and a wonderful atmosphere of the sur-rounding forest. During the trip we also gather by the campfire to enjoy warm drinks and frying sausages. It is good to remember that the Northern Lights are an unpredictable phenomenon of nature, so we cannot promise their 100 % visibility. Regardless, the trip always offers a wonderful and mystical experience by nature. It’s like a piece of authentic Lapland exotica!

This atmospheric  evening ride is suitable for all ages. Get on the sled, sit comfortably and relax to the sound of the sleigh bells as the journey takes you into snowy nature. During the trip, we stop to enjoy the peace of nature by a blazing campfire with warm beverages.

If the odds are in our favour, you will be indulged with one of the amazing natural phenomena in the world: the northern lights.

In winter, the temperature can drop rapidly, which is why, the weather limit for the activity is -28 degrees.
