Pharmacy cabinet at reception closed Nov 7 - Nov 10

The pharmacy cabinet at the Ranua Resort reception desk will be closed from November 7 to 10, 2025. The pharmacist at Ranua Pharmacy will change on November 11. Due to the inventory required for the change, the Ranua Resort pharmacy cabinet will be closed from November 7 to 10, 2025, and we will not be able to sell pharmacy products during this time. The pharmacy cabinet will reopen on November 11.

Wild Arctic Restaurant closed temporarily – lunch served at Arctic Igloos

Our Wild Arctic Restaurant at the Wildlife Park entrance is closed from September 1 to November 16, 2025, due to expansion renovations. During the renovation, we serve our hungry customers at the Arctic Igloos Restaurant on the shore of Lake Ranua.

Welcome Autumn – and changes to opening hours

Ranua Resort is slowly transitioning into the winter season, and the arrival of autumn has brought changes to our opening hours. The Wildlife Park, ticket office, and gift shop are open every day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Domestic Animal Park and Mini Car Track are closed for the rest of the year. They will reopen at the beginning of next summer.

Wild forest reindeer conservation continues!

The wild forest reindeer gets a seven-year extension for its conservation project! This native species has received significant funding from the EU LIFE programme. The LIFEline4Fennicus project, starting in 2026, will support the population's viability through various measures such as reintroductions and habitat restoration.
