Get under the sleigh’s warm blankets and relax on a winter sleigh ride. This hour-long traditional ride on a Finnhorse takes you in the footsteps of our ancestors, when the horse was the only means of transport.

Listening to the sound of the sleigh bells and the clatter of hooves, you can get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and stop to enjoy the moment. During mid-winter you can also experience the famous Blue Moment!

Northern lights safari with finnhorse

Get on the sled, sit comfortably, and relax to the sound of the sleigh bells as the journey takes you into snowy nature. During the trip, we stop to enjoy the peace of nature by a blazing campfire with warm beverages.

If the odds are in our favour, you will be indulged with one of the amazing natural phenomena in the world: the northern lights.

In winter, the temperature can drop rapidly, which is why, the weather limit for the activity is -28 degrees.

At the farm, you will meet a delightful mix of Lappish animals—gentle Finn horses, hardy Northern Finn cattle, fluffy sheep, lively chickens, playful Finnish Lapphunds, and even curious cats and cuddly bunnies. Learn about life on the farm in Arctic conditions and unwind by the warmth of a crackling campfire in a cozy hut, sipping a hot drink as you take in the peaceful surroundings.
