300 metres reindeer safari

During Christmas time, you can go on a small reindeer ride. The reindeer ride is offered from 25th of December 2022 to the 10th of January 2023. For less than 8 people, no reservation is needed. However, groups with more than 8 people require a reservation through email: reception@ranuaresort.com.

3 kilometre reindeer safari

Experience a traditional Lapland reindeer ride in a winter forest landscape! This 3 kilometer ride is suitable for the whole family. The ride takes place near Ranua Wildlife Park. Please book this activity in advance: reception@ranuaresort.com.

Visit to reindeer farm – safari

Come on a reindeer farm visit with a snowmobile!

The safari starts with a driving instruction for the snow mobile, after which we head to Laivala, a traditional reindeer farm. The reindeer farm has more than 300 reindeer, and the farm is held already in its third generation. You can also go on a reindeer ride on a sleigh. After the reindeer ride, we enjoy a warm meal in the hut, after which we return on our snowmobiles.

The trip takes about 3-4 hours.
