The natural beauty of Ranua calls all nature lovers. There is a suitable hiking route for everyone, and you get to spend a wonderful day in our beautiful scenery. The unique swamp nature, the great Simojärvi lake, and Ranua’s rich nature offer hiking experiences all year round.
Our first-rate ski trails that lie in the vicinity of Ranua Wildlife Park are partly lit, however, the main trail is entirely lit. The main trail diverges into a combined trail to Ranua center, the Oravi competition trails as well as the Oravi 10-kilometer ski trail.
Ranua also accommodates official, top-condition snowmobile trails. The connections are to Rovaniemi, Vanttaus, Posio, Syöte, Ii, and Simo.
