Arrive at any time! You can now also book and pay for your spot in advance on our webstore. If you arrive outside reception opening hours, please call the twenty-four-hour on-call number found on the wall of the maintenance building to receive the code for access.

Camping Wildlife Park offers a pleasant stop-over for caravan travellers and campers right next to the Wildlife Park. Accommodation is available around the clock, and the sauna is warm every evening.

In addition to the Ranua Wildlife Park, located in the immediate vicinity of the caravan area, nature experiences are provided by a nature trail with huts and shelters. You can also explore Ranua’s incredible nature by renting fat bikes, or in winter by snowshoeing or cross-country skiing.

Reception & Arriving after opening hours

Arrive any time! When arriving outside reception opening hours, please call the 24/7 open On-call number to get the access code for the service building. Number can be found on the wall of the service building.

The reception for the Camping Wildlife Park can be found in the Holiday Villas reception, across the yard from the ticket sales.

If you arrive after the reception has closed, you can select a pitch and due the check in and payment the next morning when the reception opens.

You can fill in ready the passenger card in the kitchen and bring it to the reception when checking in.

Prices – Camping Wildlife Park

Please, note that the price always consist of basic fee and the person fee. All the caravan pitches are with electricity and it’s including in the price. Caravan pitch with electricity can be booked for tents also.

All asphalt pitches. With valid camping card discount is 3 € /night from the basic fee from camping pitch place.

Public sauna included in the price. The timetable for the saunas varies depending on season.

Breakfast at Wild Arctic restaurant; plate including karelian pies, croissants, cheese, salad, cucumber and tomatoes, pickles. Also included yoghurt with muesli and jam, a glass of orange juice and a glass of berry juice. Some coffee and a glass of milk. Warm dishes such as boiled eggs, sausages and bacon on a separate plate.

Summer breakfast

Summer breakfast is served daily at the Wild Arctic Restaurant from June 22 to August 31, between 8:00–10:00 AM.

Start your day in the cozy main restaurant located next to the Wildlife Park, where mornings unfold peacefully and deliciously. Our summer breakfast offers a relaxed moment before a visit to the park, a nature excursion, or the day’s other adventures.

Enjoy a generous selection of breakfast favourites, from fresh flavours to warm dishes – served in the rhythm of nature, authentically and effortlessly.

Please note that breakfast is also available at the Camping Ranuanjärvi restaurant from June 1 to August 31. Breakfast is prepared based on advance reservations only.

Arctic igloos

Arctic Igloos brings a dose of luxury into your life. The glass roof and windows allow for an unobstructed view of Ranuanjärvi’s horizon that changes with the seasons. Come and enjoy Ranua’s complete peace and quiet.

Holiday villas

The holiday villas are located right next to the wildlife park, and each villa has all the amenities needed for a relaxing vacation; a fireplace, sauna and kitchen, as well as a private terrace with a view to the forest. Two apartments can easily be combined into a holiday villa for 12 people. The holiday village has its own log cabin and right beside it you can take a detour to the nature trails.

Camping Wildlife Park

Camping Wildlife Park offers caravanners and campers a comfortable place for a stop right next to the wildlife park. You can stay around the clock and the sauna is warm every evening. The equipment of the area includes a kitchen with dining areas, an outdoor grill, saunas and showers, a washing machine, a children’s playground and a chemical toilet emptying point.

Camping Ranuanjärvi

Ranuanjärvi campsite is located right on the shore of the lake. It is about 2 km to the nearest shop and about 5 km to Ranua Wildlife Park. The campsite has tent and caravan sites, as well as summer cabins. The area has a new kitchen building, shower and toilet facilities for people with disabilities, a sauna for rent and a place to empty a chemical toilet, and an outdoor fireplace. There is also a child-friendly sandy beach and rentable SUP boards, fat bikes and a rowing boat.
