star

All activities follow the animals’ natural routines and are designed to keep them stress-free.

Each experience has limited participants, with age limits depending on the species, and at least one adult required. The price includes the chosen experience, Wildlife Park admission, and a certificate.

Availability depends on the animals’ schedules, with some sessions in the morning before opening and others timed to afternoon feeding.

When the park is still quiet and the first light of day begins to glow, you will step behind the scenes to meet some of our most secretive little residents. After gearing up, you will help prepare tiny treats and then, together with a wildlife keeper, offer them to mice and voles, watching as they scurry, sniff, and explore in their hidden world.

As the animals enjoy their breakfast, your guide will share captivating stories about other fascinating small mammals, including the elusive beech marten — known as the master of hiding — and the rare European mink, whose presence adds to the rich tapestry of Arctic wildlife. It is an intimate glimpse into a world that most visitors never see, where even the tiniest creatures carry great importance in nature’s delicate balance.

Timing:                                                   08:00-09:00

Suitability:                                           Up from 8-year-old, maximum 3 participants

Morning comes slowly to the forest, and the wild boars begin to stir.

After dressing up as a wildlife keeper, you will step behind the scenes to help prepare their breakfast, a hearty mix of fruits, vegetables, grains, and other favourite treats.

As you carry the meal to the enclosure’s hidden back area, you may already hear the first eager grunts echoing through the park. Soon, the boars appear — snuffling, nudging, and calling to one another as they
line up for their feast. Some are bold and impatient, others take their time, but all are bursting with curiosity.

Your wildlife guide will share stories of their daily lives: how these clever animals spend their days digging, rooting, and exploring — their true life’s mission. It is hard work keeping up with their curiosity, and
that is why their enclosure might look a little wonderfully stirred-up at times . It is simply the mark of a day well spent!

This morning programme takes place at 08:00, before the park opens to the public, and is limited to three participants aged eight and above.

Please note that the activity involves handling natural materials such as wood, hay, and lichen, and may not be suitable for guests with allergies.
