The entrance, toilet, sauna and the washing room are in the wood-walled area of the Igloo, facing the forest and the bedroom is in the glass wall part of the Igloo. Depending on the season the breakfast is served in the restaurant or as a take away.
Please notice that all our Igloos are Non-Smoking. If you are travelling with a pet, check the availability for pet-friendly igloo before placing the booking due to limited availability.
The glass igloos are located on the peaceful shores of the lake Ranuanjärvi, far from city light pollution. Distance to the main resort (Wildlife Park & Holiday Villas) is 6 km.
The igloos have been built on the lake shores in such a manner that each offers an unobstructed view across the open lake to the far-reaching northern horizons. During winter the heating of the glass-panels in the sleeping space and in the kitchenette prevent the frosting over of the glass surfaces, at the same time preventing also the snow from remaining on top of the Igloo.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Check-in starts daily at 3 pm and check-out is at 11 am on the day of departure. If you arrive after reception opening hours, please contact reception in advance.
BREAKFAST
Breakfast is included in the rate. The breakfast is served as a take away during April 1st – May 31 st & September 1st – October 31st.
