Wild summer nights at the Wildlife park
Experience the wildlife park in the magic of a summer evening
On Wild Summer Nights, Ranua Wildlife Park stays open later than usual, giving visitors a chance to experience the park in a completely different atmosphere. The calm light of a northern summer evening, the animals’ evening routines and special keeper-led programme make these evenings a memorable summer experience.
For Wild Summer Nights, visitors can buy a special evening ticket at a lower price than a regular wildlife park ticket. The ticket is valid for entry between 18:00 and 22:00.

Programme at the wildlife park
- 18:00 Evening feeding at the domestic animal yard
- 19:00 Evening feeding for the wild boar
- 19:30 Enrichment moment for the European mink
- 20:30 Polar bear evening feeding and keeper talk
- 21:30 Night snack for the otter
During Wild Summer Nights, the ticket office, souvenir shop and Wild Arctic Restaurant serve visitors until 22:00. The restaurant kitchen closes at 21:30. During the evening hours, the restaurant offers a tasty grill menu.
One of the ice cream kiosks along the wildlife park route will also be open until 21:30, so you can enjoy ice cream and refreshments during your evening visit.
The souvenir shop will also have special offers during Wild Summer Nights.
In summer 2026, there’ll be lots of fun and interesting things happening at Ranua Resort! There’s also something new to see at the wildlife park, as many of the animals have adorable cubs, and all three polar bears are now living in harmony in the same enclosure.

Courtyard Kiosk Closed Temporarily
Ranua Resort’s courtyard ice cream kiosk is temporarily closed. A squirrel has built a nest near the kiosk, so we are giving it the peace and quiet it needs during the nesting season. We will reopen the kiosk once the young squirrels have left the nest.
