Welcome Autumn – and changes to opening hours

Ranua Resort is slowly transitioning into the winter season, and the arrival of autumn has brought changes to our opening hours.

The Wildlife Park, ticket office, and gift shop are open every day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Domestic Animal Park and Mini Car Track are closed for the rest of the year. They will reopen at the beginning of next summer.

The Ranuanjärvi Campsite with its cabins and camping pitches is also closed for the winter season. However, the Arctic Igloos Restaurant at the campsite reception will be open during the renovation of the Wildlife Park’s Wild Arctic Restaurant from September 1 to November 14. Arctic Igloos Restaurant offers a delicious lunch buffet daily from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and à la carte dishes from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Wild Arctic restaurant will reopen on November 15, larger and more enjoyable than ever. At that time, the lunch buffet will also move back from the Arctic Igloos Restaurant to the Wild Arctic restaurant next to the Wildlife Park.

Wildlife Park Camping is open year-round. The campground and holiday villa reception is open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
