Join us in celebrating Arctic Sea Ice Day on July 15th

Arctic sea ice is not just a hunting platform for polar bears – it supports an entire ecosystem, from the smallest algae to the top predators.

July 15th is Arctic Sea Ice Day – an international awareness day created by the conservation organization Polar Bears International to draw attention to the rapidly melting Arctic ecosystem, its importance, and how we can help slow down this development.

Join us at Ranua Wildlife Park to celebrate Arctic Sea Ice Day on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
Meet Venus and learn about polar bears, sea ice, and its significance during a keeper talk at 2:00 PM.
Check out the full schedule of talks and feedings for the day on our website.
